Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2026-10-15
This policy explains how Infxon (the “Site”) handles information related to you when you browse it. The Site is an aggregation and indexing service for publicly available news, and processes data on a data-minimisation basis by default.
1. What we process
Information you provide: the email address or phone number submitted at registration, a password hash, comments, favourites and follow lists.
Information generated while you use the Site: page views, article reads, on-site search terms, clicks and dwell time, recorded as anonymous behavioural events.
Device and access information: coarse-grained data such as browser type and language, and screen size, used for layout adaptation and troubleshooting.
We do not collect your full IP address, do not set third-party advertising cookies, and do not perform cross-site tracking.
2. Why we process it
To provide and maintain the service: sign-in, comments, favourites and reading history.
To improve content and experience: ranking popular articles, tuning channels and ordering, and evaluating recommendations.
For safety and compliance: preventing abuse, spam and abnormal access, and meeting legal requirements.
3. Storage and retention
Account data is stored in the Site's server database, and passwords are kept only as irreversible hashes.
Anonymous behavioural events are used in aggregate; aggregated results contain no personally identifying markers.
After you close your account or request deletion, we remove or anonymise the relevant data within a reasonable period.
4. Your rights
You can access, correct and export your account data, and delete your account from the user centre.
You can adjust consent for non-essential data at any time through the Cookie settings link in the footer: after choosing “essential only”, the Site stops non-essential analytics and recommendation computation.
If you object to how data is processed, you can raise it through the contact route below.
5. Third parties and external links
Content comes from public news sources (RSS and open endpoints). Outbound links lead to third-party sites whose data practices are not covered by this policy; please review their privacy policies.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
6. Contact
For any question about this policy, please use the contact route provided on the About page.
If this policy changes materially, we will post a prominent notice on the Site.
