SBU chief Oleksandr Poklad ordered the removal of two senior officers implicated in the investigation conducted by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU), according to an official statement published on Telegram.
The Security Service said Poklad expected a “transparent, objective and impartial” investigation, signaling its willingness to cooperate with NABU despite longstanding tensions between the two agencies.
The dismissals came as anti-corruption investigators carried out searches targeting senior security officials suspected of connections to a criminal organization accused of operating an extensive network of fraudulent businesses.
